See, I don’t agree with that. People always just say “besides Beth and Nattie” because they’ve got muscle came from a wrestling background. All the girls have trained in FCW/OVW. Training is no walk in the park, trust me. Training for a short time myself I can tell you something that looks as simple as running the ropes bruises up your back like crazy and leaves you in pain when you weigh less than 130lbs. They take bump after bump for hours and go through the most rigorous cardio day after day. No ones holding a gun to their heads and saying, you WILL be a WWE Diva. They’re there because they love what they do. It’s not the Divas fault that they’re given a measly 2min TV time and told what they can and can’t do in their match. You think it was Nattie’s idea to start a farting storyline…If the bookers gave them 8min, and let them show what they’ve actually learnt in developmental, people wouldn’t give the division so much shit. All the girls that are currently on the roster are capable of putting on great matches whether they’re great wrestlers or not. It’s sports entertainment. It’s not all about how many hold you know. It’s the bumps you take. It’s your character. Beth may be the best wrestler on the roster. But I find her to be the most boring. Alicia’s flexible. Bend her in ways that’ll make the crowd cringe like they did with Melina. Kelly was a gymnast for how many years, get her to do more acrobatic moves besides a handspring elbow. At the end of the day, the Divas division has gone to shit because the company. You book the same 2min match week after week, of course people are going to get bored. Kharma’s bound to return any time soon. The girls in FCW have come a long way since NXT and with the recent signings of Ivelisse Velez/Sofia Cortez and Brittani Night/Paige, I have hope.
